AI that sorts, summarises and answers, with the source one click away

When an email arrives, 320px sorts it and prepares a summary in the background. Its summaries, briefs and answers are marked as generated and link back to the emails they used. All of this is in both plans, and the screenshots show a demo account with invented emails and example summaries.

01 · Areas and topics

Sorted into areas and topics, so related emails stay together

As emails arrive, 320px places them in one of four areas: Activities, Projects, Work and Newsletters. Inside each area, topics and items keep a project or case together, even when the emails come from different people.

  • Move an email to another area, topic or item when the grouping is wrong
  • Correct a title or summary yourself
  • Sorting only groups emails. They stay in your Inbox, and nothing is archived, deleted or answered for you.

02 · Summaries and briefs

Summaries and briefs that link back to the emails they came from

When a summary is ready, it sits above the email and says which emails it’s based on, with a link to each. The original email is right below, so you can check amounts, dates and conditions yourself.

  • The Brief gives each area with email a short update that links to the emails it was made from
  • Hide the summary when you’d rather read the email first
  • Summaries and briefs are labelled as generated, and nothing generated is ever sent for you

03 · Ask

Ask your email a question. Every point comes with a quote.

Ask finds up to eight relevant emails and answers in up to four short points, each with the exact words it relies on and a link to the email. When your emails don’t answer the question, Ask says so and shows the emails it looked through.

  • Quotes are checked against the email text, and points without a match are left out
  • When emails disagree, the answer says so
  • “Not in these emails” can list what the answer couldn’t find
  • 20 questions an hour, and keyword search has no limit

04 · Changes

See what changed on each project or case

When a new email updates a project or case, Changes shows the earlier summary next to the updated one, like a revised quote. You mark updates as reviewed yourself, so opening the page doesn’t clear them.

Reply, forward and save drafts

Write in plain text, reply to everyone, or forward an email with its attachments, up to the size limits. Drafts save as you type, and Sent shows whether each email was sent or delivered.

Follow-ups you choose

Turn any email into a follow-up, add a date if you like, then mark it done or hide it until later. 320px never creates follow-ups on its own.

How it works

What happens when an email arrives

320px sorts and summarises in the background, then shows the result next to its sources. It never replies to, archives or deletes your emails on its own.

What the AI does in 320px

  • Sorts emails as they arrive into Activities, Projects, Work or Newsletters, and into a topic
  • Writes summaries above your emails and a short brief for each area, linking to the emails they used
  • Answers your questions with exact quotes, and says when your emails don’t answer them
  • Writes an updated summary when a new email changes a project or case, and Changes keeps it until you mark it reviewed

What it leaves to you

  • Writing and sending. The AI never writes, sends or replies to an email for you.
  • Calendar replies. A reply to a calendar invitation goes out only after you confirm it.
  • Your inbox. It doesn’t archive, hide or delete emails, and the original is always below its summary.
  • The final word. Summaries and answers can contain mistakes, so each one shows its sources.

Made to fit a 320px phone screen, in light or dark

320px is named after a 320-pixel-wide phone screen, the narrowest width the app is checked at. It runs in your browser on your phone or computer, with nothing to install, and follows your device’s light or dark setting unless you choose one.

Your address and your team

Forward your email, or bring your whole team

Have copies of new email sent to the inbox you already use, or add your own domain and invite each person to a mailbox on it.

Forwarding to another address

Confirm an address once, and copies of new email go there too. 320px keeps its own copy, so summaries and Ask keep working.

Your team on your own domain

Add a domain you own and invite each person by email to a mailbox on it. Each person, owners included, reads only the email in the mailboxes assigned to them.

  • Verify the domain with a DNS record, then add the email records 320px shows you
  • When someone accepts with their 320px account, new or existing, their mailbox is created
  • Owners can reassign a mailbox, and its new owner then reads its emails. Owners can also remove a member or transfer ownership.
  • In a shared workspace, area briefs show only to someone who can read every mailbox in it

Get started in three steps

    Choose your address

    Create an account with your name, a username and a password. Your address is username@320px.com, and you don’t need a card to get it. Sorting, summaries, Ask and sending start when you choose a plan, and your first month is free.

  2. Step 2 of 3

    Send or forward email to it

    Give out your new address, or set your current mailbox to forward new email to it. Older emails aren’t imported. Settings shows when your address is receiving email.

    Start with the Brief

    Read each area’s update, open the emails behind it, and ask a question when you’re looking for something.

Your data

Clear boundaries, written down.

Emails, attachments and generated context such as summaries are kept while your workspace exists. You can reopen up to 50 of your latest Ask answers in each workspace for up to 24 hours. Expired answers can’t be opened and stay stored until a new answer is saved for you in that workspace. The data and retention page explains cleanup and deletion.

Language models

To sort, summarise and answer, email text is sent to Anthropic and, through OpenRouter, to the model providers it routes to. What they write never acts for you.

Images in emails

Images load from the sender’s servers, so the sender can see when you opened an email and your IP address. We don’t load images that look like tracking images, and in Settings you can choose to be asked first.

Backups

Encrypted and kept in Falkenstein, Germany: 7 daily, 4 weekly and 12 monthly snapshots. Backups can still contain deleted data until those snapshots are removed.

Export and deletion

Export the emails you can access. In Settings › Your data, delete a workspace where you’re the only member, or, once you’ve left any shared workspaces, your whole profile.

How much does 320px cost?

Standard costs $7 and Premium $12 per person each month, plus tax, in US dollars. The workspace owner pays for each person with a mailbox in the workspace, themselves included. Both plans include your @320px.com address, custom domains, AI sorting and summaries, Ask and forwarding. Standard includes 1,000 received emails per person each month and Premium 2,000, and Premium updates area briefs more often. The pricing page compares them.

How does the free month work?

You can sign up, get your address and read your email without a card. When you choose a plan, you add a card and your free month starts, with sorting, summaries, Ask and sending. We don’t charge the card until the month ends, and we email you 3 days before the first charge and before every charge after it. If you cancel during the month, you aren’t charged, and at its end your workspace becomes read-only: you can still read, search and export your email. After the first month, 320px continues on Standard or Premium.

What does AI-native email mean in 320px?

It means the AI is part of how your mailbox works, not an add-on. 320px is a mailbox with its own address, not an AI email client that connects to Gmail or Outlook. When an email arrives, 320px sorts it into an area and a topic, writes a summary and makes it searchable by meaning. The Brief and Ask build on that. Its summaries, briefs and answers are marked as generated and link back to the emails they came from, and 320px never replies to, archives or deletes your emails on its own.

Can I use 320px with my Gmail or Outlook address?

320px is its own mailbox at username@320px.com. It doesn’t sign in to other email accounts or import older email. To use it alongside Gmail, Outlook or another provider, set that provider to forward new email to your 320px address. Replies you write in 320px are sent from your 320px address.

Can I forward my 320px email to another address?

Yes. In Settings › Email, enter the address and your password, then open the confirmation link we send to that address and confirm it while signed in. Forwarding starts when Settings shows “Forwarding is on.” From then on, copies of new email go there too, and 320px keeps its own copy. Each mailbox has one forwarding address, only its owner can set it, and it can’t be an @320px.com address. You can turn forwarding off in the same place.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes, on both plans. In Settings › Domains and mailboxes, add a domain you own, publish the verification record and the email records 320px shows you, then create mailboxes on it. The workspace owner pays for each person with a mailbox.

Can my team or organisation use 320px?

Yes, on your own domain. Add the domain and invite each person by email to a mailbox on it. To accept, they sign in to 320px or create an account, which comes with its own @320px.com address, and their mailbox is created. Each person, owners included, reads only the email in the mailboxes assigned to them. Owners can reassign a mailbox, and its new owner then reads its emails. Owners can also remove members and transfer ownership. In a shared workspace, area briefs show only to someone who can read every mailbox in it. Each person you give a mailbox counts towards your plan, and their own @320px.com address is included. Without a custom domain, a workspace has only you.

Which AI services does 320px use?

320px uses Anthropic’s Claude models, and language models reached through OpenRouter and the model providers it routes to. Together they sort your emails into areas and topics, write summaries and area briefs, find related emails and answer your questions. Email text is sent to these services for that work, and the privacy notice says which service does what. What they write is shown with links to its sources and never acts on your behalf.

What happens when I reach a limit?

Standard includes 1,000 received emails per person each month and Premium 2,000, counted from each renewal date. Over that number nothing is blocked: your email is still received, sorted and summarised, and we let you know. Ask allows 20 questions an hour and meaning search 60 searches an hour, for each person in each workspace. Both count over a rolling hour, so they free up as time passes, and each answer shows how many questions are left, such as “17 of 20 questions left this hour”. When you reach the Ask limit, you can still search by keyword or by meaning. When meaning search reaches its limit, searches use keywords until earlier searches are more than an hour old. Keyword search has no limit. Sending allows 20 emails an hour for each workspace, also over a rolling hour, and 100 a day from each address, counted per day in UTC. Receiving, reading and sorting email don’t count towards the hourly limits.

Can I export or delete my data?

Yes. In Settings › Your data you can export the emails you can access, as technical data files rather than a ready-to-open mail archive. You can also delete a workspace where you’re the only member, or, once you’ve left any shared workspaces, your whole profile. Deletion is confirmed before it runs and can’t be cancelled afterwards. The data and retention page has the details.
