Terms of service
These terms apply between you and Reach Out Labs GmbH when you use 320px. Please read them with the privacy notice, which explains how we handle your data.
Who we are
Reach Out Labs GmbH, c/o Impact Hub Zürich, Sihlquai 131, CH-8005 Zürich, Switzerland, runs 320px. You can reach us at hello@reachoutlabs.ch.
Your account and workspaces
- You need an account to use 320px. Keep your password to yourself; you’re responsible for what is done with your account.
- Your email lives in a workspace. The person who creates a workspace owns it: they choose its plan, pay for it, and can invite people to mailboxes on their own domain, reassign mailboxes, remove members and transfer ownership.
- Each person reads only the mailboxes assigned to them, the owner included.
Plans and prices
- Standard costs $7 and Premium $12 for each person with a mailbox in the workspace, each month. Prices are in US dollars and don’t include tax. Tax is added where it applies, based on the billing address, and shown at checkout and on each invoice.
- The plan applies to the whole workspace. The owner pays for every person with a mailbox in it, themselves included. A workspace pays for at least one person.
- Standard includes 1,000 received emails per person each month and updates each area’s brief at most every 3 hours. Premium includes 2,000 received emails per person each month and updates them at most every 30 minutes. On both plans, moving an email can update its area’s brief sooner, up to 6 more times a day.
- When the number of people with a mailbox changes, the charge changes from that day, and the difference appears on the next invoice.
Your free month and your card
- Each new workspace gets a free month of 30 days, which starts when its owner chooses a plan and adds a card. We don’t charge the card during the free month.
- Without a plan, a workspace receives email, and you can read, search and export it. Forwarding to an address you confirm works too. Sorting, summaries, Ask and sending start with a plan.
- We email the owner 3 days before the free month ends, with the date and the amount of the first charge.
- A workspace gets one free month. Starting again after cancelling doesn’t give it another.
- A workspace created before paid plans launched gets its free month from the launch day. If its owner adds a card in the last 2 days of that month, the card is charged when it’s added.
Renewal and cancellation
- After the free month, the plan renews every month and the card is charged at the start of each month, until the owner cancels. We email the owner 3 days before every charge.
- The owner can cancel at any time in Settings › Plan. The plan then ends at the end of the month already paid for, or at the end of the free month, and nothing more is charged.
- We don’t refund part of a month, also when a workspace or a profile is deleted before the month ends.
- When a plan ends, the workspace is read-only: email is still received and kept, and you can read, search and export it. The owner can start a plan again from Settings › Plan, through checkout.
Failed payments
If a charge fails, the payment is tried again over 14 days, and everything keeps working. If it still hasn’t been paid after that, the workspace is read-only until it is: email is still received and kept, and you can read, search, export and pay. Sorting and summaries, sending, Ask and new mailboxes on your own domain pause. Emails that arrived in the meantime are sorted once the payment goes through.
Limits
- Over a plan’s monthly number of received emails, nothing is blocked: email is still received, sorted and summarised, and we let the person know.
- Ask allows 20 questions an hour and search by meaning 60 searches an hour, for each person in each workspace. Sending allows 20 emails an hour for each workspace and 100 a day from each address.
Generated content
320px uses language models to sort your email and to write summaries, briefs and answers. They can contain mistakes, so each one links to the emails it came from: check the original before you rely on it. Nothing generated is sent, archived or deleted for you, and decisions you make based on it remain yours.
Acceptable use
Don’t use 320px to send spam or unlawful content, to harass anyone, to get into accounts or systems that aren’t yours, or in a way that puts the service or other people’s email at risk. If you do, we may pause sending or suspend the account, and we’ll tell you why.
Your data
- Your email remains yours. We process it only to provide 320px, as the privacy notice describes, and you can export or delete it in Settings › Your data.
- When you use 320px for other people’s email on your own domain, you decide what happens to that email and we process it on your behalf. We’ll sign a data processing agreement with you on request. The services that process data for us are listed on the security page.
Changes
We tell the owner by email at least 30 days before a new price or a change to these terms applies. If they don’t accept it, they can cancel before then.
Liability
We’re liable for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence. Otherwise, as far as the law allows, our liability is limited to what the workspace paid in the 12 months before the claim.
Law and courts
Swiss law applies, and the courts of Zürich decide disputes. If you’re a consumer, you keep the protections the law of your country gives you.
